Believe and Live!

My righteous people, however, will believe and live; but if any of them turns back, I will not be pleased with them.”
Hebrews 10:38

What is your purpose?

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

Keep Doing Good!

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Hebrews 6:10
……………………………………………………………
Like the scripture says, do not give up on doing good, God watches every act of kindness and good you do for others, none of it goes without reward, sooner or later you will see it in reality. Keep doing good!

He is Working!

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.
Ecclesiastes 11:5

Just because you don’t see it..it doesn’t remove the fact that he is working….

VISIBILITY…

NOW IS YOUR TIME FOR VISIBILITY

Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, “The Lord has not chosen these.” 11 So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?”

“There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.”

Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.”

12 So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features.

Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.”
1 Samuel 16:10-12
…………………………………………………………….

Greetings friends, I would like to talk to you about Visibility!
This is a word the Lord gave to me personally but I pray it will bless, encourage, quicken and get you prepared for what God is about to do in your life.
If you have driven or walked very early in the morning or night in a place with very little or no visibility you will appreciate what I am about to share with you…
If you have been in a family of many children or relatives but you are not appreciated, recognized, get called by name and others are, you know exactly what I am saying.
If you have worked at the same job, same hours or even more but they skip you and give the raise or promotion to somebody else, you now get what I am saying….

There is nothing as frustrating as not being able to see where you are going even when you are trying so hard to move forward….the same as doing everything in your ability but you don’t get the recognition, appreciation and reward for your efforts.
People look at you but they are not really seeing you, you talk but no one seems to be really listening and paying attention to what you are saying…..this means we are having visibility issues!
You are in a relationship but your partner says he is listening but you can clearly tell he is not paying attention! Ladies can relate to this better!
In our text today, we see the prophet on a mission to anoint the future king and he too has a mental picture of what the king should look like…but in verse 7 God tells him, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
They presented 7 of Jesse’s boys before Samuel, all of them good looking and outwardly a good look and fit for a king but God had someone else in mind, the one who was Invisible…’David’, you see when they called all the sons, David was not even summoned to come…but God had purposed it and chosen that David’s time was Now! he could not be Invisible anymore….
My friend as you read this, I pray that you will be working, preparing and waiting for that call! David was doing what he did everyday, and he was being prepared for this occasion and for what he would do in the future, that is to shepherd and lead God’s people Israel!
So today as you struggle, trying everything in your ability to be seen, recognized and acknowledged, I encourage you to be working, be where you will be found and at the same time waiting patiently for that call, for that opportunity….Be ready because the blanket has been lifted, Now is your time to show up and walk into your promises, dreams, calling and purpose!
We will talk more about Visibility in the near future….But remember be ready, because the favor of God is on you and he wants the world to see the beauty, wisdom, skill and solutions you have to give just like it was for David.

Happy Weekend to you all

Take the mask off

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
…………………………………………………………….

It is possible to call yourself God’s child, religious or a Christian and still live in pride and denial of your flaws.
But God is saying you don’t have to, because nothing is hidden before him, he is saying take the mask off, clear the make up, come the way you are to him in your filth, ask him to change your mind, heart and the way you see things.
When you are in his presence and experience his holiness, you will now see how far you have fallen off, you will see the desperate need to have your clothes and hands washed in his blood.
You will then break down and cry out for his mercy and grace from a pure heart and place.
With this sincerity and willingness to change.. God will forgive you, take the shame from you and cause his Sun to shine on you and the works of your hands.
Now that is the Rain!

Ask, Believe, Move

We are sure that if we ask anything that He wants us to have, He will hear us. If we are sure He hears us when we ask, we can be sure He will give us what we ask for.

1 John 5:14-15 NLV
—————————————————————————
I love my boys so much but I don’t give them everything they ask for even when I have it.
Somethings are actually good and harmless but the timing sometimes does not favor their requests or their age alone will cause me not to give them certain things…but as they grow on a daily basis, the timing is good and their attitude! I give to them what they need and some times what they want!
I believe the same with God, he knows exactly what we need but sometimes we are just not ready to receive what we are asking for, or the timing is not yet and you know what sometimes we just need to keep moving and doing what we are supposed to do and along the way God will release our requests and even things we didn’t ask for…..surprises! my kids love these…I know you do too!
Keep moving, Keep asking, Keep a good attitude, Believe that you were heard, accepted and be patient for the delivery to come your way!
